Roof Repairs We
See Most Often.

Most calls we get come down to one of these.

Roof Leak Repair

Most leaks start somewhere you wouldn't expect, like a failed pipe boot, bad flashing, or a compromised valley three feet from the water stain. We trace the leak to its actual source, not just where it shows up, and repair the cause.

Learn More

Water follows the path of least resistance, so a stain on your bedroom ceiling might trace back to a failed seal three or four feet upslope. That's why we start in the attic, looking for daylight, moisture trails, and stained decking to pinpoint the true entry point before we ever touch a shingle.

Once we've identified the source, we repair only what's necessary, whether that's re-sealing a valley, replacing a section of step flashing, or installing a new pipe boot. You'll get photos of what we found and what we fixed, so you know exactly where the problem was.

Storm Damage Repair

For hail strikes, wind-lifted tabs, or a fallen limb, we look at how far the damage goes and fix only what's needed. If damage is limited, a targeted fix saves you the cost of a full replacement. If it's widespread, we help you file an insurance claim instead.

Learn More

Not every storm hit means a full replacement. If hail damage is limited to one slope, or a single branch punched through the decking in one spot, a targeted repair is usually the better call. We document the damage area with photos and measurements so you can see exactly what's affected and what isn't.

If we get up there and find that the damage extends across multiple slopes, we'll tell you. At that point, a full replacement through insurance often makes more sense financially. Either way, you'll know the scope before we start any work.

Flashing Repair

Flashing seals every transition on your roof: walls, chimneys, valleys, skylights. When metal corrodes or sealant dries out, water gets behind the shingles instead of over them. We remove the failed material and reinstall to code.

Learn More

Flashing is the metal that seals every transition point on your roof, like where the roof meets a wall, wraps around a chimney, or lines a valley. When it fails, water gets behind the shingles instead of running over them, and you end up with rot you can't see until it's expensive.

We don't caulk over old flashing and call it done. We remove the compromised sections, install new galvanized or aluminum flashing with proper step and counter-flashing technique, and seal everything to manufacturer spec. On chimney repairs, we also check the cricket (the small peaked structure behind the chimney) to make sure water is diverting correctly.

Shingle Replacement

Cracked, curled, or missing shingles from age, storms, or foot traffic. We remove the damaged section, check the underlayment and decking beneath, and install new shingles with the closest color and profile match available.

Learn More

When we replace shingles, we don't just slap a new piece on top. We pull the damaged shingles, check the underlayment and decking underneath for moisture or soft spots, and then install new shingles with proper nailing pattern and sealant strip alignment. The goal is a repair that's as watertight as the day the roof was installed.

Color matching on an existing roof isn't always perfect. Shingles weather over time, and new material will look slightly different for a few months until UV exposure evens things out. We match the manufacturer, product line, and color as closely as possible, and we'll let you know upfront if the age of your roof makes a visible difference likely.

If we find that damage is too widespread for a section repair to make financial sense, we'll walk you through the full replacement options instead.

Pipe Boot & Vent Repair

The rubber gaskets around vent pipes dry out and crack after 8–12 years, well before the rest of the roof. It's one of the most common causes of unexplained ceiling leaks. We replace the entire boot assembly so the seal lasts as long as the roof around it.

Learn More

Most homeowners don't realize the rubber collar around a plumbing vent pipe wears out long before the shingles around it do. After about 8–12 years of Georgia sun and temperature swings, the neoprene dries out, cracks, and pulls away from the pipe. Then water starts dripping straight into your attic every time it rains.

We replace the entire boot assembly, not just the gasket. The new unit gets seated with fresh sealant and properly integrated with the surrounding shingles so there's no exposed edge for water to find. On homes with multiple vent pipes, we check every one. If one has failed, the others are usually close behind.

This is one of the most affordable repairs we do, and it stops a problem that only gets worse with time. Get a free inspection →

Emergency Roof Repair

Tree limb through the decking, storm that opened up a section, or an active leak during heavy rain. When water is coming in, you can't wait. We tarp and weatherproof the area to stop the damage, then come back for the permanent repair once conditions allow.

Learn More

When a tree comes through your roof or a storm tears open a section, the first job is stopping the water, not scheduling a project for next month. We get a tarp over the open area fast so your drywall, insulation, and wiring don't take any more damage. Then we plan the permanent repair.

Once conditions allow, we come back to do the full repair: replace damaged decking, install new underlayment and shingles, and restore everything to pre-damage condition. If a storm caused the damage, emergency tarping is typically included in your insurance claim. We document everything and can help you through the claims process from start to finish.

How a Roof Repair
Works With Us.

What happens from the first call to the finished repair.

1

We Inspect the Roof

We get on the roof, find the source, and photograph everything. If the leak isn't where you think it is, we'll show you exactly where the water is getting in.

2

You Get a Clear Diagnosis

We tell you what's wrong and what it'll cost to fix, in writing. If a repair will hold, we say so. If you'd be wasting money, we tell you that too.

3

We Make the Repair

Most repairs are completed in a single visit, often the same week you call. We fix the problem area, check the surrounding shingles and sealant, and clean up when we're done. If we open things up and find unexpected damage underneath, we'll show you photos and talk through options before doing any additional work.

4

Follow-Up

We send photos of the completed work and our direct number. If the same area gives you trouble, call us and we'll come back out.

Repair or Replace?
We'll Tell You.

Repair Makes Sense When…
  • Damage is isolated to one area or a few shingles
  • The rest of the roof is in decent shape
  • Problem is a specific leak, flashing failure, or pipe boot
  • Roof is under 15 years old
  • A fix can reasonably extend the roof's life
Let's Figure It Out →
Replacement Makes More Sense When…
  • Shingles are curling, brittle, or failing in multiple areas
  • Widespread granule loss showing up in the gutters
  • You've had multiple repairs in a short window
  • Roof is 18+ years old with visible wear across the system
  • Patching would just delay a larger failure
Learn about roof replacement →

Some roofs fall in the gray area. If a repair can buy you a few solid years, we'll say that. If it would only put off a replacement, we'll tell you that. Either way, there's no pressure from us.

Roof Repair
Questions

Things homeowners ask us before we come out.

It depends on the issue. A cracked pipe boot or a few blown-off shingles can be a few hundred dollars. Chimney flashing or larger storm damage will cost more. We give you a real number after we inspect, not a guess over the phone.

Age and extent of damage. If your roof is under 15 and the issue is localized, a repair usually makes sense. If it's 18+ with curling shingles, granule loss, and multiple problem spots, replacement is the better move.

Usually, yes. Most leaks come from one specific failure, like a cracked pipe boot, bad flashing, a wind-damaged shingle, or a worn valley. If the underlying system is sound, we fix the problem area and leave the rest alone.

Yes. If your roof is actively taking on water, call us at 770-520-7079. First priority is getting it covered and dry. We deal with the permanent fix after the area is protected.

If the damage was caused by a covered event like hail, wind, or a fallen limb, your insurance typically covers the repair minus your deductible. We photograph and document everything so your claim has what it needs.
